If you're looking for fun and exciting events to do this weekend, we have that in store for you. Check out this list of local events happening in Central Florida. Have a great weekend!

1. Haunted Halloween Maze

When: October 27, 2018, 6 pm – 10 pm
Where: Lake Catherine Blueberries, 5849 Lake Catherine Rd, Groveland, Florida 34736

Afraid of the dark? Would you dare enter the haunted Halloween Maze? Experience the sequel to last year’s “What Happened to Catherine?” with “Catherine’s Revenge.” 100 years of ghost stories about their farm and a little girl who disappeared a century ago. Warning: The maze may be a bit too intense for very young children and is not recommended for children under 8.

2. Hastings Ranch & Farm Fall Festival

When: October 27 and 28, 2018, 10 am – 6 pm
Where: Hastings Ranch & Farm LLC, 5452 Jones Road, Saint Cloud, Florida 34769

Enjoy a fun-filled weekend here are the Hastings Ranch! Their fall festival will surely get you up and seek for more fun! There will be hayrides, barrel trains, a corn maze, live music and more! Food, games, and merchants will be there for you too!

3. Fung Time in the Woods with Jon Martin

When: October 28, 2018, 2 pm – 5 pm
Where: Markham Woods Trailhead, 8515 Markham Rd, Lake Mary, FL 32746

Join Jon Martin for a guided mushroom walk and community mycology adventure! You will be walked through the process of identifying mushrooms, how to collect them from the wild for study or for food, become familiarized with the major groups of mushrooms and mush, mush more! This will be a comprehensive educational experience for all and an awesome time immersed in nature with great company.

4. The Studios Dance Troupe

When: October 27, 2018, 9 am – 11 am
Where: Northland Church, 530 Dog Track Road, The Rink Fellowship Hall, Longwood, FL 32750

Join us as we work on dance techniques and learn choreography rooted in the contemporary style to be performed with other young artists at the Northland Family Feast on November 11. The Northland Family Feast will include a meal and fun activities for the whole family, followed by a celebration of praise and thanksgiving, Mark your calendars and bring on the fun! This event is for ages 7 and up.

5. TERROR on Tree Swallow Drive

When: October 27, 2018, 8 pm – 12 am
Where: Spill, 1196 Tree Swallow Drive, #1314 Winter Springs, FL 32708

Party hard this Saturday at this Halloween Costume Party!! Drink specials will be served all night and live music will be provided by DJ Tha Travler. The party starts at 8 pm until midnight. Prizes, giveaways, and costume contest prizes will be given away. Space is limited so get there early!

6. HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest

When: October 27, 2018, 9 am – 12 pm
Where: Secret Lake Park, 200 Ivey Road, Casselberry, FL 32707

Come and join the fifth annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest this Saturday! The event will feature a leisurely dog walk, canine costume contest, adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, raffles and more! Registration is $20 in advance and $25 at the date of the event.

7LHC Vespers & Board Game Night

When: October 27, 2018, 6:15 pm – 11 pm
Where: 195 South Westmonte Drive, 195 Lyman Road, Altamonte Springs, FL, FL 32714

Join in for Vespers and Board Game Night! People of all ages are invited and there will be special events at each game night to participate in. You can also bring your own board games to share and play with others.

8. 9th Annual Trunk 'R Treat

When: October 27, 2018, 6 pm – 8 pm
Where: Apopka High School, 555 Martin Street, Apopka, FL 32712

Bring the whole family to the 9th Annual Trunk 'R Treat at the Apopka High School! Trunk 'R Treat is an alternative to the door-to-door trick or treating where the Dream Team members will decorate the trunks of their cars and give out candy and treats. There will be free food, a costume contest and more! Don't miss out on this night of incredible community fun! Register quickly as ticket are limited.

9. Ascension Dance: Beginner's Class

When: October 27, 2018, 6 pm – 8 pm
Where: REMNANT CHRISTIAN CENTER, 170 South Washington Avenue, Apopka, FL 32703

All ages are welcome to this event. Join Ascension, the Urban dance class founded in Apopka. The Ascension's purpose is to teach those who want to begin dancing or to help nurture the talents of intermediate dancers. This connect group will teach simple choreographies suited to guiding the students in body movements and learn timing.

10. ATA - All Things Art Show

When: October 27, 2018, 7 pm – 11 pm
Where: Kaleidoscope Venue For The Arts, 1991 Corporate Square, #Suite 181, Longwood, FL 32750

Celebrate all things art on this open art show! Art of all mediums, styles, sizes, and forms are welcome on this show. Anything you create as long as its your art is welcome! There is a $5 submission fee per artist for unlimited pieces and no size restrictions.
