#1 A Lot of Pumpkins at Santa's Christmas Tree Forest

Pick out your perfect pumpkin this October as Santa has opened up A Lot of Pumpkins for this family tradition. Pumpkins are picked fresh and delivered overnight for freshness. Most pumpkins cost between $3 and $12 and are priced by size. A pumpkin carving table to create your Jack-o-Lantern's and leave your mess at the farm and tools are available for purchase.

#2 Halloween at Cranes Roost

Join the 20th annual Halloween at Cranes Roost in Altamonte Springs. This is a kid friendly door-to-door trick-or-treat event starting at 5 p.m. all around the Cranes Roost Lake. There will be live entertainment and a costume contest begins at 6 p.m. and food and beverages for purchase throughout the venue.

Date: Monday, October 31st at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Cost: FREE


#3 Halloween Howl at Rollins College

Halloween Howl is a family friendly event open to the whole community and features trick-or-treating, arts and crafts activities and carnival games. There will be haunted houses and lots of decor with a costume contest for the kids. 

Saturday, October 29th at 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Cost: FREE. Where: Mills Lawn @ Rollins College.


#4 Central Florida Zoo Boo Bash

Visit the Central Florida Zoo for a fun, family friendly not-to-scary event for all ages. The kids can bring goody bags and wear their best costumes to trick-or-treat at stations throughout the park. There will be a costume contest at 1 p.m. each day of the event and a special book reading of The Skeleton in the Closet - A Halloween Tradition by local author Chad Shea at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Dates: Sat & Sun on October 22nd & 23rd and Sat & Sun on October 29th & 30th at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost: Included with Zoo Admission $13.75 - $19.75.


#5 Club Lake Plantation Annual Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch

What's not to love about a fall festival? Club Lake Plantation Annual Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch has hay rides, a corn maze, toddler maze, pumpkin patch, Country Store, play structures, high strikers, football area, basketball area, Cow Wash, and more!

#6 A Petrified Forest Haunted House

Who doesn't love a haunted house? Get scared this Halloween at A Petrified Forested that is bigger and better than ever for their 9th year! Outdoor scare trails, live bands, vendors, food, and of course impromptu characters and screaming guests. Keep the small kids at home for this one as this event has a PG-13 rating.

#7 Wekiva Island Halloween Party

Get your best funniest or scariest costume out for a chance to win a grand price up to $1,000 in cash and gift cards plus a Chill Chamber filled with beer. There will be contests for funniest and scariest costumes plus the best group costume. Food, music and Southern Tier’s Rum Barrel Aged Pumking Ale flowing on tap all night long.

#8 7th Annual Truck or Treat at St. Stephan Lutheran Church

Bring out the kids to this modern twist on a classic tradition at the Truck or Treat. Kids can trick-or-treat from car to car in a safe family friendly environment. There will also be a costume contest with prizes for best truck, best individual costume, and best group costume.
